Our full exterior doors are suitable for placement at any exterior entrance point in your home whether sheltered of fully exposed to the elements. Exterior doors are constructed of waterproof MDF, thermally modified timber and high-performance thermal foam core.
Porch Doors
Our Porch doors are designed for sheltered entranced ways which are protected form the full extent of prevailing weather conditions. Constructed with oil tempered hardboard skins, H 3.2 treated timber and either solid polystyrene or moisture resistant particle board cores.
Our full exterior doors are made of composite timber materials, so just like our interior door range, they can be grooved with standard or custom designs and can be manufactured in custom sizes. This offers the unique opportunity to match your interior and exterior design choices.
Our high performance thermal foam core offers excellent insulation which exceed even the highest density polystyrenes. In most configurations our full exterior door R-values exceed 1.00 which is double the requirement for the most stringent regions in New Zealand under the 2023 H1 regulations.
Custom Options
Our material choices and production processes allow us to offer the same flexibility in our full exterior doors that we offer with our interior doors range. This means that that we can manufacture a door to your specific requirements both with the inside construction and the outside decoration of the door. Doors are available in both custom sizes and with custom material placement to accommodate various hardware requirements. On the outside of the door, we can offer the same custom and standard grooving options that are so popular with our interior doors giving you total design freedom.
Machining and installation
Using timber and timber composite materials make our full exterior doors very straight forward to machine and install using standard wood working tools and prehanging techniques. This makes them suitable for both new builds and retrofitting to replace existing exterior doors.
